You know what’s better than a trackday? An invite-only trackday featuring a handful of badass cars at one of the UK’s most prestigious circuits! Sounds way too good to be true, right? Not for the guys at Player’s Show…

Regular readers of the blog will be all too familiar with JayMac & Carl from Player’s. We’ve been big supporters of every show since day one and year after year the guys smash it out the park. 2018 is going to be no different, in fact with Classic @ Goodwood now taking over the full weekend it’ll be their biggest year to date!

With this in mind, JayMac & Carl decided to host a little get-together to not only give regular show-goers an extra opportunity to thrash their cars on track, but also say thank you for their continued support. With rumours of a free lunch too we couldn’t possibly miss it!

Even with such limited cars in attendance the variety was EXACTLY what you’d expect from a Player’s event! From classic Ford Escorts to twin-turbo Japanese Skylines and even a Honda Beat Kei Car! It wasn’t about being the fastest; it was about having maximum fun.

Meguiar’s traveled down with Team Prep‘n’Lay E46 BMW Compact – a race team we’ve been supporting for several years (and inevitably one of the shiniest race cars you’ll ever see). What started off as a glorious sunny Wednesday soon turned into an absolute British monsoon, but that still didn’t stop the guys from hitting the track… it just made things a little more sideways!

With just over a month to go until the Player’s Classic 2-dayer @ Goodwood we can’t wait to get back down south for what we fully expect to be one the highlight shows of the year. We’ll see you there…
