Regular readers of the Meguiar’s blog will be all too familiar with the Players Show. Founded by Jamie ‘JayMac’ McToldridge and Carl Taylor back in 2006, the pair had a vision to create the ultimate one-day event boasting a chilled European vibe open to every kind of car enthusiast. Meguiar’s is hugely proud to have supported the Players Show since day 1, and over the past nine years it’s developed into one of the must-visit shows of the year, taking over North Weald airfield in September and Goodwood Circuit earlier in the year (otherwise known as Players Classic).

With glorious sunshine and Meguiar’s in attendance 2015 was always going to be a good year for Players! But with more show cars than ever before taking over the airfield ranging from Euro, JDM, classics and American Muscle it’s safe to say Players 9.0 had something for quite literally everyone. We even found a 600bh Cossie-powered, Dimma-kitted 4WD Renault Clio in one of the hangers!

Sitting pretty on the Meguiar’s stand this year was a range of super-cool cars including James Brown’s immaculate Mercedes 190, Max Marshall’s insane V8 twin-turbo E30 BMW, and Siv Patel’s JDM-inspired Mk4 Golf. It was awesome to see so many other show cars throughout the paddock prepped and cleaned with Meguiar’s products including JayMac’s own Mk1 Golf which has been completely restored and upgraded from a bare shell.

Once again Players proved why it remains one of the must attend events of the year. Good weather, amazing cars, chilled vibes and all at an affordable price – there’s worse ways to spend a Sunday in September! We look forward to seeing you all at Goodwood for Players Classic 2016.
