Meguiar's Club Showcase at the NEC Classic Motorshow
Meguiar’s celebrates 10 years of sponsoring the NEC Classic Motorshow this year and we’re planning our best stand yet!
A popular addition to the show, the Meguiar’s Club Showcase will return. Bringing together some of the finest examples of restored classic cars from up and down the country, vehicles in the Meguiar’s club showcase are all show winners within their own respective categories.
What’s more, with every purchase made at the show you’ll be able to enjoy an ice cream from Polly’s Parlour for free!
Polly’s Parlour offer lovingly crafted artisan ice cream and sorbets all dispensed from a purpose built Volkswagen camper van. Finished in an eye catching pink and cream scheme, the Polly’s Parlour bus has become something of a crowd favourite up and down the country.
To redeem an ice cream after your purchase, simply take your Meguiar’s casino chip to the bus and exchange it for an ice cream.
The Meguiar’s Club Showcase is renowned for being a diverse display of immaculate vehicles and this year is no exception. The oldest vehicle on display this year is Mark Stewart’s 1935 Austin 7 AVH van. From a relative wreck to best in show winner the Austin 7 is immaculate throughout and a real credit to Mark’s dedication to the restoration.
Bringing an air of American muscle flair to the showcase, Chris Wade’s American Auto Club International Car of the Day winning Pontiac GTO will also be in attendance.
Originally white but now finished in a deep black the GTO has been restored by Chris in his own home garage and it’s an original matching numbers car that we can’t wait to see more of!
Representing Europe, Doug Blair’s incredible 1983 Renault Turbo 2 is another welcome addition to the Meguiar’s Club Showcase. This Group B homologation special is completely original and has never been modified. It’s a fantastic memoir of a unique time in international motorsport and we’re looking forward to pouring over the details of this race derived hatchback.
