With the English weather looking surprisingly hot the Meguiar’s team headed just down the road to Silverstone for one of the biggest Ford-specific events in Europe, Ford Fair. This is a show which continues to grow year on year and will always be on the Meguiar’s calendar – especially given how enthusiastic Ford owners of all generations are. To represent this fully, we had an eclectic mix of Dagenham’s finest on the stand including a Mk3 Focus ST and a pair of immaculate Mk1 Escorts!

2014 saw Meguiar’s back involved in the concourse event, something which never disappoints given just how thoroughly every car entered is cleaned and polished. Ford owners really know how to take a concourse event to the next level, with the cars on display at Silverstone being some of the most stunning examples in the UK! The judges (headed by Kevin) had a tough and unenviable task of having to pick an eventual winner, and this year Meguiar’s also added to the trophy pot with a bespoke ‘Best in Show’ trophy.

In recent years Meguiar’s have noticed a massive increase not only the standard of cars but also the level of detail owners now go to when presenting their cars on display. Meguiar’s witnessed this first-hand by the amount of Detailers (Ultimate Detailer and Ultimate Wash & Wax anywhere) which was purchased on the day. Keeping dust off paint is very difficult especially with the weather and dust at events like Ford Fair, but this certainly didn’t deter any of the owners and cars on display.

Ford Fair was a fantastic show and of all the events we attend (50+ throughout a year!) this is still one of the top events to head to. We are already looking forward to Ford Fair 2015!
