It doesn’t get much more British than a gathering of top quality Jaguars @ Windsor Castle! Over the weekend Meguiar’s UK had the pleasure of attending the annual Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club meet – an even we’re proud to have supported for many years – to showcase our fantastic range of products as well as selecting a winner for the Meguiar’s Club Showcase 2017.

If you’re unaware of the Meguiar’s Club Showcase, every year we hand pick a selection of club cars to be displayed at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November. Every car selected represents the best of the best within its sector be it a Jaguar, Volkswagen or Ferrari. The overall winner is then decided on the day before being crowned the overall winner for 2017 – no pressure.

Windsor Castle is a seriously cool location for any get together, and in addition to the weekend show the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club also organized a 250+ car parade through the streets of Windsor, representing the earliest big cats right through to the latest Supercharged monsters. In fact, there was an estimated 60,000bhp of prime British Beef rumbling through the streets!

With the Meguiar’s trade stand setup and showcasing our full range of cleaning products, it was fantastic to see so many high-quality Jaguars on display, some of which remain 100% original and others which have been treated to a full bare metal refresh. There was one model which really stood out to Meguiar’s though…

Ken Day’s Jaguar E-Type looked absolutely gleaming in the sunshine, with flawless paint and an interior even better than new. It turns out Ken is no stranger to Meguiar’s either, having previously won a spot within the Meguiar’s Club Showcase back in 2011 with a different car! A true testament to the passion Ken has for every car he owns, builds and drives.
