GALLERY: Meguiar’s @ Ultimate Dubs 2014
What a show, and what a weekend! This year Ultimate Dubs opened its doors on Saturday evening to cater for the mass of die-hard fans eager to get in on the action ahead of the Sunday mayhem – it really is that popular. As always, Meguiar’s took along a huge trade stand located in the main hall showcasing all the latest products including our highly anticipated Headlight Restoration Kit.
Keeping punters flocking to the stand was a selection of super-cool show cars including James Brown’s immaculate Audi TT. Boasting deep red paintwork by JAGS Bodyshop, with contrasting Rotiform SNA wheels James’s TT is one of the best in the UK – it looks incredible when fully aired out too.
One of the most eye-catching cars on display was this Porsche 964 built and owned by Richard Payne @ Milestone 71. From the Rubystone paintwork to the polished BBS splits this is exactly why we love the VAG scene! Perfect in every way, and with 300bhp on tap it’s got the performance to match the looks.
It’s not a VW, in fact it doesn’t even fall under VAG… but Becky’s E21 BMW was more than worthy to be on display at Ultimate Dubs. Super clean, super low and super classy, you simply cannot go wrong with a classic Bavarian motor stanced on BBS splits.
Parm and the team @ Car Audio Security turned up with one of the biggest (and loudest) stands at Ultimate Dubs, showcasing everything from their Mk5 Golf GTI and ‘BASS LOW’ Audi A4 right through to an air-equipped BMW M3 and Audi R8. Every single car was finished to a spectacularly high standard, and when it comes to audio these guys are the kings bar none.
Talking of Golf GTIs, Scene-Media unveiled their new Mk7 GTI on the Garage Midnight stand opposite Meguiar’s. Finished just two days before the event Ben @ Scene-Media had the paintwork machined by Meguiar’s to get it up to a show-worthy standard. Coilovers, 19in MTM wheels and Forge Motorsport goodies – a winning combination!
We’ll be bringing you some car-specific spotlights over the next few days so make sure you stay tuned to the Meguiar’s blog. Until then, check out our Ultimate Dubs gallery below.
