Meguiar's @ SEMA 2013
The UK show scene may have calmed down for winter but across the pond in Las Vegas the world’s most exciting car show is taking place! SEMA is like nothing else if you’re a fan of the automotive tuning industry. Literally thousands of tuners, manufacturers and industry experts gather together at the Las Vegas Convention Centre for a week-long celebration of all things modified. It goes without saying that Meguiar’s USA is in attendance once again, and for 2013 we’ll be bringing you live updates and content throughout the week!
To kick things off let’s take a look at the Meguiar’s stand – pretty amazing, isn’t it? There’s a HUGE Meguiar’s presence across the entire SEMA show with an outdoor ‘Car Crazy’ stand showcasing super-cool car builds and interviews with the people responsible. Did we mention the weather? It’s ‘cool’ for Vegas standards, but high 20s and low 30s are on the way…
Back at the indoor Meguiar’s stand you’ll notice one VERY unique car taking centre stage – a 1939 Type 57C Bugatti originally owned by the Prince of Persia! Built to an incredible standard by Vanvooren this super-rare Bugatti is the only one of its kind to ever be modified let alone displayed at SEMA. We’ll be bringing you a full car feature on this later in the week.
The cars are the stars here at SEMA, but with over 150,000 in attendance you’re guaranteed to bump into a few familiar faces including Bryn and Suzy from Speedhunters.com. Make sure you check out their awesome coverage over on their site! With day two about to commence in just a few minutes make sure you stay tuned to the all-new Meguiar’s blog for more SEMA content!
