PREVIEW: Meguiar's @ Players Show 10.0 Presented By Air Lift Performance
Players Show is one event on the UK show calendar that simply can’t be missed. Founded by Jamie ‘JayMac’ McToldridge and Carl Taylor back in 2006, the pair had a vision to create the ultimate one-day event boasting a chilled European vibe open to every kind of car enthusiast. Meguiar’s is hugely proud to have supported the Players Show since day 1, and over the past ten years it’s developed into one of the must-visit shows of the year, taking over North Weald airfield in September and Goodwood Circuit earlier in the year (otherwise known as Players Classic).
With close to 1000 show cars in attendance, Players Show 10.0 is shaping up to be the biggest and best event in the show’s 10-year history! We’ll be bringing you a full show report and gallery later next week, but until then let’s take a closer look at just a few of the cars you can expect to see on the Meguiar’s stand this Sunday…
Ryan Stewart’s Porsche Cayman
This is one car we’re also hugely excited to see in the metal! Ryan’s Porsche Cayman has been built for the track, but that doesn’t mean it can’t look good in the process, right? Freshly painted in Porsche Maritime Blue, the Cayman boasts a whole host of goodies including Rotiform 3-piece wheels, Bilstein Damptronic coilovers and Tarox brakes. It’ll be a treat to see it standing still for once…
Greg Howell’s Porsche 964
Greg’s Porsche 964 is a masterpiece. It’s a nut-and-bolt restoration complete with a few extra goodies in the process, namely BBS wheels, a rebuilt engine courtesy of Milestone71 and Bilstein suspension. Flawless doesn’t even come close to explaining how immaculate this car is – a testament to Greg’s meticulous work.
Mark Riccioni’s Mazda RX7
FEED wide arches, a big HKS single turbo and Volk Racing forged wheels – it doesn’t get much anymore JDM than Mark’s 1999 Mazda RX7. What’s more, with a full re-spray courtesy of Greg Howell in the OEM Mazda colour it’s one of the few 90s Jap cars in the UK which looks as good as it goes.
