They say good things come in small packages, and it couldn’t be more true in the case of this years Meguiar’s Club Showcase winner. The diminutive MINI belongs to Ian Matthews and an original Morris car that rolled off the production line in 1959 along with the very first batch of cars.

It’s current mileage stands at just over 43,000 miles and is lovingly restored to totally original spec with a mix of genuine new and new old stock parts.

‘It’s amazing just how many people relate to the MINI shape and ‘being a 1959 MINI it’s a very special and rare car now. Everyone that sees the car stops and talk as most people have owned a classic MINI at some point in their life’ says Ian.

While that might not be strictly true for some of our younger audience there is no denying that this MINI is immaculate in every way. Congratulations Ian, a worthy winner of this years Meguiar’s Club Showcase!
