Wheel Wednesday: Reflex Autodesign Touran x Fifteen 52 Tarmac CR43
Choosing the right set of wheels can make or break a modified car. All that time spent perfecting the exterior is often overlooked when they wheels either don’t quite fit, or simply don’t go with a car’s shape and bodystyle. This fact is especially apparent in the VAG scene where wheel fitment and choice is king – something Daventry-based specialists Reflex Autodesign know all too well…
Last week Meguiar’s had the pleasure of welcoming the Reflex Autodesign VW Touran into our Detailing Bay for final correction, and when we laid eyes on the wheels Johnny and the team had chosen it blew us away! You’re looking at a set of 19in Fifteen 52 Tarmac CR43s designed by none other than Ken Block himself – and the same design currently used by his wild 800+bhp ‘Hoonicorn’ 4WD Mustang.
Measuring in at 19×8.5in ET45 (front) and 19×9.5in ET45 (rear) the Reflex Touran has been stanced to perfection, tucking tyre into all four arches with millimeter precision. What’s more, with air suspension fitted all round it remains totally usable with clearance to get past even the biggest speed bumps. All while being able to transport the family in style!
We love what Reflex has achieved with the Touran and look forward to seeing more Fifteen 52 wheel designs appearing in the UK very soon. Check out more of their work over at http://www.facebook.com/ReflexAutoDesignuk
